"The Inferno Half was certainly a challenge with a bit of rock scrambling, peat bog jumping (or in my case sinking), mud and lots of hills but I loved every minute of it. It was relaxed, friendly and well organised with well stocked checkpoints. The welcome at the end as all runners were clapped into the hall by volunteers and other runners was lovely. The food provided was fantastic too. All in all I would definitely recommend it, but be prepared to work hard ☺️ Georgina"

"If you are looking for a proper trail race using natural terrain to make it tough then this is the race for you. It’s the hardest race I have ever done but I loved it. Stunning scenery at every turn. Fantastic marshals. Did I mention that it’s tough!"

Enter INFERNO - Edale's Ring of Hell!!!

About the race:

INFERNO - Edale's Ring of Hell Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon are set in the heart of Peak District (UK's Original National Park) and provide an unforgettable adventure thanks to its wide range of terrain. Race starts in Edale (just 5 min walk from a very well connected train station, which is super convenient ) and quickly leads up Ringing Roger via steep ascent. The race follows sheep tracks, muddy paths, rocky descents and even a climb up waterfall with crystal clear water (that's our unofficial water station). Event have 4 distances: Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10miles. Ultra is for the real nutters and is extremely difficult. Please be aware you will be self-supported for long periods of time (10-15miles between Checkpoints), so make sure you carry enough water with you (there is few streams and waterfall on the course).

The race will be self-navigated - GPX, map with marked route will be provided to download. We can organise a recce for each course to get you familiar with terrain and route, if there will be interested group. This will be free of charge!

Mandatory kit for all distances will be published closer to the race weather dependant.
Some items must be carried on Ultra and marathon regardless of the weather:

* bivi bag
* waterproof jacket
* basic first aid kit
* 1000ml of liquid

Failure to carry your own mandatory kit throughout the duration of the race will result in a disqualification.
